It's just under two weeks left before Christmas now and if you haven't started your Christmas shopping, you really should! Pro's Winter Series

LEE NICHOL LOVES A DOUBLE POINTS WEEK! Played two won two for Lee Nichol in double points week!

The two timely wins put Lee at the top of the table at this early stage! Leader Ray Cardy had another solid week with a third place but it wasn't enough to stop Lee taking over at the top. There were significant moves up the table from Keith Fearon (second place) Mike Harris and Paul Clarke who all find themselves in the top ten. There's lots to play for over the Christmas period!

Pro's Christmas Competition
Saturday, 21 Dececmber

PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE OFFERING A PRIZE TO THE MOST FESTIVELY DRESSED TEAM ON THE DAY so I want to see everyone getting in to the Christmas spirit and lots of effort and thought put in to your outfits!

Iain will be running an indoor nearest the pin competition making use of a famous par three on the simulator so make sure you give yourselves plenty of time either before or after you play to compete for more prizes, whilst enjoying a drink in the comfort of the studio!

Sometimes, the difference between a scratch golfer and a 9-handicapper can be quite small, such as how far they each hit the ball. However, there is certainly one part of the game that can be hugely different and it’s the area where your score is either made or lost.

Why the gap?

It's brilliant to see more club golfers getting fitted for new clubs now than ever before, and long may that continue!

But why would you not get fitted for your wedges?

With modern lofts on irons being stronger than ever (one of the reasons today's irons go further than a decade ago), golfers are often left with huge gaps between clubs at the bottom of their bag.

With lofts available from 46 (PW) to 60 (LW) degrees, we'd highly recommend getting fitted for PING’s Glide 3.0 wedges as not only will they provide you with great performance around the green, but the correct set-up will easily fill any gaps you might have.
