Welcome to the latest edition of Self Isolation Weekly. This week there definitely seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the frustrated golfer. I think we're close now to the first phase of restrictions being lifted and the chance to go and lose a few balls again! It's been a comparatively quiet week in the madhouse and I'm pleased to say there's no dramas or injuries to report this week, all kids managed to stay on their bikes and it looks like we're winning the battle to stop Ralph (our puppy) eating every flower we plant in the garden. I hope I haven't spoke too soon and end up eating my words whilst he is eating through all the plants again! Down at the golf club we've started to put the safety measures in place in preparation so we're absolutely ready to open and get playing once we get the green light. The temporary local rules for the re-start are below. They've been compiled using much of the guidance from golf's governing bodies. They may seem a little strict but it's better to be safe than sorry and we believe it's better to start this way and then relax rules as we go rather than the other way round and find we need to tighten things up. Enjoy this week's read... |
